A soldier was also killed and a civilian injured in the exchange of fire on Monday night. One of the slain militants identified as Talha Rasheed, is nephew of JeM Pakistan based chief Moulana Masood Azhar. Police have requested Pakistan to claim the body of Talha, a Pakistani resident.
